The Golf R and the Scirocco R on track
And the Golf R does go one better than the Scirroco R. Still equipped with VW’s 265bhp turbo 4-pot it also gets endowed with the latest version of VW’s 4Motion all wheel drive. But pretty pictures of the new Golf R are not really enough.

It would be hard to miss the looming Geneva Motor Show if you have even the slightest interest in cars. It’s nice to see we’re getting some proper high-end stuff at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
Fun appears to be on the chopping block at Honda. Plans for the successor to the S2000 sports car, a lineup of rear-drive Acuras, a proposed V8 engine and a drop-top built off the CR-Z hybrid are all dead, according to a report in a British magazine. The reason: Honda is rethinking its product plans as it grapples with the global downturn in sales and economic conditions, Autocar is reporting.
